why the F*&^ should I donate to you?!
Why should you donate? I don’t know why you should. But more importantly, I do not CARE WHY. I just want money.
Having money solves almost all problems. And those problems it doesn’t solve, can be fixed with solutions you can BUY with money. So money is good. Lots of it is great.
And I am WAY ahead of you on the next question! Why don’t I get a job?
Well if YOU have one, tell me about it! If I can do it, or learn it, and it will take care of my current financial responsibilities, I’ll work for you!
But of course what you mean is the theory of getting a job, then I am here to tell you for a 45 year old unattractive fat guy who is an honest person, that theory is bullshit. The “go out and get a job” theory falls short when you actually put it to the test.
As I said already, if you HAVE the job - ie YOU ARE the person who is doing the hiring, then we aren’t talking in theory and you and I can chat.
Otherwise let’s not waste our time on theories. So I wont accept theories and you don’t have a job for me, so lets get back to the topic!
THE TOPIC - why would you donate to Harry?
- some time ago, someone helped you. And you promised that person you would help a stranger as thanks
- your adult children are worthless, hanging around like vultures waiting for their inheritance, this will burn their ass good wouldn’t it!
- the only thing your parents ever gave you was a trust fund that your grandparents created, this will fix their inattentive vacationing asses!
- Your spouse joined AA and then left you for someone they meet in an AA meeting
- You left your spouse for someone you met in an AA meeting
- You sell drugs, have all your life, and make great money
- you are an executive at a national corporation and frequently piss on the corporate rules to do what you want
- your are a dishonest salesman and make millions doing it
- you go to AA and bang the newcomer women, married or not, all the time
- you were raised by good parents and when you stopped drinking, you got back on track and have lead a successful life ever since
- Since you joined the 12 step fellowship, everything has gone perfect for you. Life has gotten better every year
- you have never been to college, have no experience writing computer programs but you make loads of money as an I.T. recruiter, deciding which guy gets to the interview and which does not
- You made 12 million on your last deal and its work you love
- You have access to Al Queda or Mafia cartel bank accounts and screw the evidence bin, you are sending Harry a mil
- you are a billionaire and you loose a million in the market on a slow day
- You hate what I write and you want me to have so much money I stop blogging
- you love what I write so much that you want me to be sure I do nothing else
- and the number one reason why you should donate to Harry, Because it amuses you to do so…………………..
and dont forget that a paypal donation give you the opportunity to tell me what you think etc

Hey, I hear that those guys who hold up signs on the freeway exits bring home about $50k/yr, and don’t have to pay taxes on that money. That would probably keep you in rent, food and cigars for a while.

well despite blogging to the contrary, I am trying to find work that allows me some dignity. The AA way is of course to “be humble and have humility” which is the 1930’s way of saying “cave in and be a fucking doormat”

I have years of experience in which being humble has screwed me over TIME AND TIME AGAIN.
Are you understanding I REJECT the ‘humility clause’ as false promises??
So your next comment - tell us what you did before sobriety, what you do RIGHT NOW and FOR HOW LONG.
And how long did your God make you do those humble jobs?

lets just say i have over 20 years sober in AA. i lost my job of 5 years when i was about 2 years sober. for the next 8 years or so i did unemployment and jobs beneath my station in addition to being treated and recovering from major depression which didnt help me get a job. but i was given a very useful suggestion and that was to feel useful and keep busy. with that in mind i did jobs for $25 a day up to $15 an hour. i was a college graduate with graduate courses under my belt but the depression kicked my ass and i was sober! i barely made ends meet driving and old car held together with baling wire and chewing gum. all my student loans had to go on deferment. i had to contact all my creditors and let them know my situation. they were all surprisingly understanding. then almost by accident after i was laid off from yet another job i fell into a new career that i love and have had for the last 13 years. personally i dont give a crap about what youve done in the past. and i dont care what you reject or accept. you are angry and depressed and you need help. get it. seek professional help and stay in it until you see a change in yourself. all i hear is victim, victim, victim. poor me, poor me, poor me.

Ok 20 minus 2..thats 18. SO you want to compare the job hunting of (1) a new college graduate in his 20s in the 1980’s who lost his SCHOOL TIME job of 5 years to (2) a man in his 40’s in 2000+ who is looking for work outside of his 20 year career? And lets remember that a “20 year career” is equivalent to having NOTHING ELSE as job experience.

Thats been apparent from the first posting. Especially since what I have done in the past is follow the instructions from the book and from the men in the stag meetings to the letter and it all screwed me over. Yes if I were still one of the AA Faithful I wouldnt care what about the guy writing this blog either. Other than shutting him up of course. (Hmmmm?? Are you sure you arent a republican?)

Me? angry? How do you figure that? Oh yeah, I FUCKING WROTE IN MY BLOG I AM ANGRY AND PISSED.
Depressed and seek professional help? Well as a matter of fact since 1999 that is exactly what I have been doing. Depression:one of the many fucking gifts of the program. Thanks! Oh and since 2002 I’ve been getting my care and meds from the county facility. I get to sit in the waiting room of the county free psychiactry offices each week with the parking meter conversers.
You fuckers dont know what humility is. You think humility is some cute episode to tell in your 45 minute pitch. REAL humility is getting fucked over royally and having people say its something you brought on yourself.

I DID APPLY at Whole foods and Vons and other retail places. Some of these places twice in the last 2 years.
The 30 year old at whole foods did it best - first question after he read my application: “Why does a guy who programs computers for 10 years want this job?” I lied on the application - I really had 18 years experience and a degree. And I lied in my answer - I told him I wanted to change careers and whole foods was written up in Forbs as the place to be employeed.
Now that above is fuel for all AA arguements on what Harry has done is all wrong. I lied which isnt trusting God and hence I did the program incorrectly. Or I do the above with all honestly and then the guys at the stag get to tell me I was “acting the martyr” and I shouldnt be so honest I put myself on the street.
But no one in AA cares. In the last 5 years of under and un employement - ya know who’s gotten me jobs? Two AA guys, one my sponsor , for a total of 60 or 80 hours. That’s out of maybe 100 AA people I know on a first name basis. And ALMOST ALL of my normie friends have come through with something substantial.
You can call me victim all you want. I know (and now they know)this is just you trying to STOP ME from telling on you guys.
Sorry too late and I am pissed. I am ratting out the AA scam to anyone who needs to hear it.

I do think it’s wonderful that the Doctor got a new career. Probably put into his life from a “loving God”.
