This posting might seem like its off topic from the 12 steps. you might even thinks its a political posting. But really what this posting is doing is showing a more global demonstration of what my earlier hate mail posting was showing you, “NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR IT.” Or read it. They most certainly dont want to see it.

Allow me to show you something almost everyone in LA is talking about today and many political blogs will be talking about for the next week at least - the top main photograph on the front page of the Los Angeles Times Sunday Paper of April 2 2006. Knowing that the Times will wimp out and hide it very soon, I’ve got a copy of the pic and page saved right here.

I was at Starbucks getting my Sunday morning coffee when this picture caught me by surprise. When you pic up the Sunday paper you arent expecting this sort of REAL NEWS. My very first thought was “Well I didnt need to fucking see that…”, and then the next thought was “Is this really the Times?”" and then “Maybe journalist with balls arent gone“. And the last of the first minute thoughts was “Man are my republican friends going to be fuming!”

I can hear them shouting right now. Liberals! Traitors! Whiners! Complainers! Sound familar guys?

Is the war in Iraq happening? Are things going badly for our side? Our things getting worse than they were when the war started? Is there 17,400 injured US troops in this war? Never mind the topic of fault, or should it continue, etc. Just these questions here - are the answers to these questions YES?

But is that the topic your pro Administration friends are talking about? or is it more about “Why did the LA Times do that?”, “Publishing that pic that wasnt necessary!”, “Those agenda pushing liberal bastards!”…….

So when we read and hear about complainers and whiners, isnt this really about demands to “Stop saying that. or “SHUT UP!” ?

Maybe you didnt quite get it when you read my hate mail posting. Why’s Harry up in arms on his blog? Why do the people emailing give a rats ass at all?

Maybe NOW with a different example you can see what was going on ? Its not that the topic is not real. It is the no one involved in the topic wants me to talk about it.
